I like many keep about every piece of scrap leftovers. It doesn't matter to me if small or large scraps, I tend to keep them. I wanted to share a layout using scraps. I wanted this to be a 2-page layout but ..... I only had 1 large piece of the DSP I wanted to use from the Unbounded Beauty pack. So, my right page is on hold and yes, I did order another pack of the 12" x 12" Unbounded Beauty DSP. So, page 2 (right page) will be added in a couple weeks.
I followed the cutting guide and instructions in the Weekend Adventures Scrapbooking Workshop (layout #3) using the products listed in the Product List at the end of this post. Yes, I tend to use a lot of products and I do list what I use. You never need to use as much as I do but the list is posted for reference and in case there is something you would like to use - there it is in the clickable links that will take you to my storefront for ordering.
I embossed the solid pieces of cardstock and using a sponge dauber and light touch went over the pieces with their coordinating ink color to make the design of the embossing folder more noticable. I also did this to the pinwheel as it was cut using 2-tone cardstock and i didn't want any of the small areas of white showing.
This photo was shot at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and I just wanted to do a lot of flowery stuff for Janis Joplin. That was the thing at the time and this DSP was perfect for these pics. The reason for the pinwheel will be completely understood when my order arrives with my package of Unbounded Beauty DSP. I have a pic take at R&R HofF of Janis that has tons of pinwheels in the background. You will have to check back in a couple weeks for the addition of that layout page.

Another great layout pattern! The page is beautiful.
Thank you so much. Enjoying these pages. I don't use scraps enough and they build up. Time to get busy :)
