No Longer Using Follow It Notifications ...

Per my post today on my Facebook page I have deleted the new blog post notification option on my right sidebar. I was using Follow It and the reason for my decision to no longer use that for new post notifications was upon seeing some of the advertising that accompanied my notifications. I have no control over what they choose to advertise in the email notification as mentioned when I first began using Follow It.

If you would like notifications please use the Contact Me form on the right side panel of this blog. As mentioned in my FB post ALL of your information will remain private & never shared with anyone nor sold.

As mentioned in my FB post I am unable to delete/remove you from receiving those notifications & although I have deleted Follow It from my blog you will still per their site continue to receive new blog post notifications unless YOU remove my blog from your Follow It account.

So, per their website here is what you can do in order to no longer receive the notifications. 

1. Log in to your Follow It account which is at www.followit.com

2. Select READ from the left side bar (located under follow it logo)

3. You should see my blog - Creatingwithtinag as shown in the image below & click on Unfollow (right side under Edit)

4. You should see the following window pop up. I selected Other.

5. As shown in the image below I then gave a reason & next you will click Unfollow.

This should hopefully remove you from receiving any further new blog post notifications from Follow it.

Another possible way is to use the Unsubscribe button in a recent email from Follow It with a new blog post notification. I am not sure what email address you may have used for receiving the notifications but I was using GMAIL to receive the same new blog post notification to keep me alert that the notices were in fact being emailed. This is what MY email with GMAIL shows in a recent notification and I clicked Unsubscribe (see red outline).

You should then see this or something similar. Click Unsubscribe.

And, then you should see this or similar.
