Google Drive Changes & My Google Drive Shared Files ...

Hi everyone,

I have noticed the past couple of days that when I go to my Google Drive the files, catalogs etc. I have shared there are no longer showing color but are now showing in grayscale.  Once the file, catalog, etc. is opened the images are in color. I wanted to bring this issue up in case someone attempting to open a shared file sees the grayscale and decides to not open it.  Go ahead - open it as it is safe - just Google changing things.

Here is what has been said about this change from color to grayscale.

Google has been gradually unifying Drive’s look so that folders and many interface elements default to gray, with color used more sparingly for accents and labels. This means that, even though you still have full access to your files, the visual distinction between Docs, Sheets, and Slides is now much less pronounced in some views.

I will say I really miss seeing the cover of my shared digital catalogs, etc. being the color format but according to Google we are unable to revert back to the "old" format.

Please let me know if you have any questions as always happy to be there & assist.
