As many know I was a hard core CTMH shopper for their Workshops, products for scrapbooking and their exceptional event ~ Retreats!! They had the retreats a couple times a year and while not in person we were able to purchase their Retreat Event packages and follow along with their 2-day Live videos. I kept screenshots and downloaded the videos of the Retreats I "attended".
I used White Willow 12"x12" CS for the base, inked the edges and with a blending brush added a couple areas of Pool Party (dark side). I used Stylish Shapes dies to make my Christmas ornaments and the tops are from a smaller die in the same set cut in half. I used a tiny hole punch to bring my twine through. We actually do use twine or ribbon on most of our ornaments instead of ornament hooks so kind of perfect. Stamped gingerbread men around the larger Pool Party CS piece with Pecan Pie. I inked the edges of White Willow with Pool Party.
I used the light side of Petal Pink CS and centered it which also gives dimension. Lightly spritz the edges with water and roll with something thin. I use a wooden chopstick. Thin paint brush works great too. Give it a bit to dry or take your heat tool and give it small moments of heat. I like the very edge of my cardstock to have the "worn" look, too.
Here are measurements and products used in case you want to give it a go. If you do please post to my FB page in the comments under the pic of this layout. I did not add the dimensions of my photo as it is an off size that most would likely not use.

Beautiful layout! I also miss those retreats! I think I still have a few to finish. They always taught us to use new techniques that were forgotten or something totally new. Love the rolled and worn edges!
It came out beautifully! I need yo try rolled edges someday. I am envious of you that you got to do the CTMH retreats. I couldn’t ever afford one. Not even w my Maker discount. Maybe SU! Will do this someday and I can afford it then. One can hope. 😀
Thank you. The retreats I "attended" were really fun and learned several techniques and fun things to do on our scrapbook layouts. I truly hope stampin' Up!™ will give them a try.
Thank you! The rolled edges really are unique and I also really like that in doing this method you also are able to easily created a "worn" look to those rolled edges. If you give it a try remember - lightly spritz the edge of cardstock and not overly wet the cardstock. Hope you try.
