Christmas Tree 2000

While I haven't gone back super far, I thought the year 2000 was and OK place to start for my "Christmas Through The Years" album.

I started with a 12" x 12" piece of White Willow.  I did cut on the diagonal a Christmas print DSP.  The one I used (Traditions of St. Nick) has sold out and retired. However, any Christmas print will do.

I took another piece of the same DSP collection and cut on diagonal then tore the edge to add technique.  I used Tear & Tape to adhere to the White Willow.

Round We Go dies were used for the pinwheels/rosettes.  I ran those through my Mini Cut and Emboss machine adhering with Tombow Multi-Purpose Glue.

I used white 3D snowflakes and then (this is where hubby contributed) dabbed with Wink of Stella for a little sparkle.

The photo mats were cut with the Paper Trimmer using the same DSP collection.

Measurements (yours may be different depending on your photo):

Photo: 3.75" x 4.75"
Mat 1: 4" x 5"
Mat 2: 4.25" x 5.25"
Mat 3: 4.5" x 5.5"

Journaling measurements also depend on what you have to say.  I typically will use 2 mats for my journaling behind my text CS.

As always, if a product has retired, I will not post below in Products Used but do mention in the body of the post for reference.  You might have the same product and want to use it for this or something similar.

Happy crafting,

Tina
