It's a Snowy Wonder ...

Since we have moved to Michigan from Texas we have fallen in love with the seasons.  And, we have found winter and snowfall to be extra special.  There is just something about watching the snow falling.  Seeing it on the wintery tree branches is magical.  There is a peacefulness that is felt through all the stages.  With that said - snow removal does not give us the same feeling 😊

I decided to make a 2 page spread using only 1 picture on each page.  There is a lot being down with monochromatic so I went there.  It just felt right with these pictures.

My pictures are not trimmed to a certain size.  I printed on 4x6 and trimmed the edges so I had print only and no borders.  Also, I do like double matting my images and I will usually do my journaling on my Mac and print which is what I have done here. I will post below the layouts the products used for this 2 page spread.

I used my paper trimmer at the 6" mark for the DSP and then tore at the top part of the design.  I did the same for the Smokey Slate CS and placed behind the DSP.  I did use Dimensionals behind the DSP to slightly elevate for depth.  I added ribbon from my stash (Stampin' Up! but retired) to the title.  Deckled Circle dies were used for the title.

When using the snowflake mask I applied various amounts of pressure to make some darker and some lighter.

Thank you Sonia. I love using masks to stencil and create my own papers. These masks are really nice too as they a little thicker than others I have used in the past. I so appreciate your kindness on my layouts.
