Happy August! Yes, can you believe ... AUGUST!! We are zipping through 2024. This is a long blog post as didn't want to overload your inbox if you have elected to get email notifications of my new posts. So, covering a couple of things in this one post.
With a new month comes a new Host Code: QNKFEG7E
Today I want to share information and a fun scrapbook layout I just completed.
Many have earned $5 coupons in July. Today begins the 1st day to redeem those codes. You may use as many as you have or want to use on an order. There is not a set limit on how many coupons you may use. How awesome is that!
Have you had your eye on a big ticket item? Maybe looking at the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine? Now is the time to apply your coupon codes for that big ticket item OR shop Online Exclusives, Kits, month to month or prepaid Paper Pumpkin subscriptions and so much more!
And, as a reminder if you are using multiple codes on an order to separate them with a space. And, you are able to use those codes with whichever Demonstrator you choose. With this special event you do not have to use your earned coupons with the person you earned them with. I mention this as with so many "earned" things in life - the "earned" item(s) are usually required to be redeemed with the original person etc. No so with this special Stampin' Up! offered. How awesome is this? Again, you are in control!
Now the new layout. I have been looking at the card designs shown in the new Annual Catalog. I have converted a couple of them for scrapbook pages. I thought this would be a fun thing to do and to show that Stampin' Up!™ is NOT just for cardmaking. Of course you also know that we are ramping up for a September release of new scrapbooking items. So excited Stampin' Up!™ is doing this!!
So, one of the layouts I have converted to scrapbook page is card layout #11. The measurements are noted on the image. Here is the converted scrapbook page "recipe".
And, here is my completed scrapbook page. I splattered Petunia Pop and Summer Splash on Basic White 12x12 cardstock. The photo "mats" were cut per the above measurements using Unbounded Beauty 12x12 DSP. I wanted to somewhat "play" on the name of the area we were in ... Conch so I decided to use Seaside Wishes stamps and dies. I then added Dimensionals and Wink of Stella to the shells and Starfish. They are stamped with Crumb Cake on Basic White thick cardstock. Image #1 journaling is a triple mat using Petunia Pop and Summer Splash, then I added Dimensionals. All of the photo "mats" are placed with Stampin' Seal+.
