Sale-A-Bration "Natural Botanicals"

My card is the standard A2 and I wanted to use Natural Botanicals which is available until end of day as a FREE product offer.  This stamp set is one of the rare items offered during Sale-a-bration as a reward and a purchase product.  But, why not a free one?!  You can use this stamp set in so many ways.  Not only for cardmaking but also scrapbooking.  I love creating my personal backgrounds for scrapbook pages and florals and leaves are perfect for so many occasions. 

I also used several Stampin' Write™ markers (water based like the ink pads) for the tops of the flowers and "swishing" some lines throughout the petals.

Paper Pumpkin February 2025 Alternative for Hello Spring

I wanted to give a try to a "fun fold" card and awhile back I had seen something similar.  This was a fun one to make but did take a few extra minutes.  The great thing about this is how the butterfly has dimension but I didn't use Dimensionals.

Different Occasion Using Halloween Memories Workshop ...

I keep all the Workshop guides and have several in PDF form to use for other seasons and/or occasions.  I sometimes will browse through them for inspiration and change them up a bit.

I used Stampin' Up!™ products and their Halloween Memories Scrapbook Layout guide for this 1-page layout.

This was created using the right page of #3, Halloween Memories Workshop.

White Willow 12"x12" CS and inked in different places with Lemon Lolly on the top 12"x6" section. 

Pennant measurements will be below but 4 are stickers on the original workshop.  I cut DSP & CS to replace those sticker pieces.  Those measurements will also be below.  After cutting the strip with my paper trimmer I then angled a few of the bottoms.  All are adhered with Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue.  Stamped the plain CS pieces with Everyday You & Me Bundle.  I used Silver Threaded Twine (R) #159662 for the pennant line instead of drawing lines as shown on the workshop guide.  This also added a little depth which I really like.  Adhered with Multi-Purpose Glue and trimmed the edges to align with the edge of the White Willow CS.

I used the workshop cutting instructions for the remaining pieces other than the photo mats.  My photos are not the same size as the photo mats on the workshop instructions.  They are double matted using Mossy Meadow cardstock and Floral Delight DSP.  Both of my photos with mats have Dimensionals added.

Flowers and leaves are from Everyday You & Me Bundle.  Daffodil Delight and    Mossy Meadow inks were used and then Wink of Stella to give a dewy look.  Added a few embellishments and will journal which I show also double matted with Mossy Meadow and Daffodil Delight CS.

Measurements:

Bottom 6"x12" (I used Floral Delight DSP)

Strip ½"x12" (I used Floral Delight DSP)

Twine was cut to 14" to allow for the dip & trimmed edges after placement

Stylish Shapes, Two Tone CS & Companion Page ...

I seem to be one of those that has so many pictures and 99% of the time I do a 2-page layout that coordinates.  I try really hard to limit the number of photos I use but ... have not succeeded in that attempt as of yet!!!!

I didn't want the 2nd page to be a complete copy of the 1st page.  So, I used the same color palette and shapes but differently.  The journaling box is very small on this 2nd page as my intention is to stamp or handwrite only the location of this 3rd Christmas celebration for 2002.

Here is the diagram of layout with measurements and I will list the products used below.  I really do love using the nontraditional colors for these Christmas pages.

Stylish Shapes and Two Tone Cardstock ...

As many know I was a hard core CTMH shopper for their Workshops, products for scrapbooking and their exceptional event ~ Retreats!!  They had the retreats a couple times a year and while not in person we were able to purchase their Retreat Event packages and follow along with their 2-day Live videos.  I kept screenshots and downloaded the videos of the Retreats I "attended".

This 1-page layout is "cased" from one of those Retreats.  I did some modifications to make it my own.  Again, going with non traditional Christmas colors which by accident seems to be a theme thus far for this Christmas Through The Years album.

I used White Willow 12"x12" CS for the base, inked the edges  and with a blending brush added a couple areas of Pool Party (dark side).  I used Stylish Shapes dies to make my Christmas ornaments and the tops are from a smaller die in the same set cut in half.  I used a tiny hole punch to bring my twine through.  We actually do use twine or ribbon on most of our ornaments instead of ornament hooks so kind of perfect.  Stamped gingerbread men around the larger Pool Party CS piece with Pecan Pie.  I inked the edges of White Willow with Pool Party.

I used the light side of Petal Pink CS and centered it which also gives dimension.  Lightly spritz the edges with water and roll with something thin.  I use a wooden chopstick.  Thin paint brush works great too.  Give it a bit to dry or take your heat tool and give it small moments of heat.  I like the very edge of my cardstock to have the "worn" look, too.
