Yuletide Village Snow Day ...

I am so far behind on completing my scrapbook pages.  Suppose I should say I am so far behind on BEGINNING them.  There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day.  So, here is the PDF for the last 2 page layouts I just completed.  If you make a page or two with this design please post on my FB page https://bit.ly/3TmdU19 in the comments where you will see the pic of this layout.  Again, having to post on my FB page in the comments is due to my FB page currently being public while I try to build followers.  Thank you so much for understanding this.

Here are the details for this 2 page layout.

We have had some awesome Christmas holidays in the South and in the North. So, these 2 pages are 2002 and we had Christmas in 3 different locations. Actually 2 locations, but 3 different homes. Again, my color scheme is nontraditional as I think it works great with these photos.

Magical Moments on the left page and What Fun on the right page were both stamped with Costal Cabana. The house is from Yuletide Village, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with markers. The snowy rooftops have a little Shimmery White Embossing Paste dabbed for texture as does the snowman on
the right page. Adhesive back snowflakes and Joyful Images Ephemera (Retired) added.

All photos are 3”x3” and double matte with Lost Lagoon CS and Regal Distressed Patterns SDSP. Both stamp sets are currently available as of the posting of this PDF. They are stamp sets only – no dies but Yuletide Village is pretty easy fussy cutting and that is coming from me!! I added Pool Party Ribbon and placement
easily seen on the recipe shown below.

Recipe:
The photo mat shown here is the 2nd mat shown in my layout. I didn’t make the photo layer or the 1st photo mat. Again, my photo is 3”x3” and my 1st photo mat is 3-1/8”x3-1/8”. This makes the 3rd photo mat measurement as shown below.

Here is the PDF giving the details and products used for this 2 page scrapbook layout.  The pics are from a phone camera (old one) so not the sharpest but love the pictures and it was such a wonderful time and a great memory for me!

If you have this stamp set please post what you have created with it on my FB page.  You will find it here https://bit.ly/3TmdU19

Meant To Bee ...

Meant To Bee is such a versatile stamp & die set that I knew I had to have it.  I could see awesome cards being made with this set as well as so many scrapbook pages.  The hexagon dies will get a lot of use on my scrapbook pages!

Card Base: 8-½" x 5-½"  Score at 4-¼"
Layer 1: 5-¼" x 4"
Layer 2: 4-¾" x 3-½"

Smallest hexagon die from the bundle used for the center opening.  I also used it a 2nd time so I would have a border around the opening to match the DSP below the bee.  Dimensionals are used for the bee DSP.

The bee was stamped with Daffodil Delight and Memento Tuxedo Black.  Wings, eyes/smile and antennae also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.  I did die cut the stamped bee and a second bee that was not stamped to use as a backing.

Wink of Stella was used on the stripes, wings, antennae and face stamps.  And, I added a "Wobble" that I have in my stash.  This bee is so darn extra cute with the movement of the "Wobble".  I mean - I had to add that 😉

The greeting was written using my Silhouette Portrait 3 and Daffodil Delight CS.  I had to do a little play on words - "Hap-BEE Valentine's Day!"  Then use Happy Labels Pick a Punch to trim the greeting CS ends.

Such a fun card to make and looking forward to making more fun things and also using these hexagon dies on my future scrapbooking pages.

Do you have this set?  If so please consider posting something you have created with it on my Facebook page in the comments under the post made today, Sunday January 26th.  The post will have a pic of this card.

Happy creating,

Where is my Paper Pumpkin ...

I have been asked by a few about the tracking for Paper Pumpkin. I did a little digging and noticed when I looked at my invoice there was a tracking number that began with 800 followed by several more numbers.  That didn't tell me anything but when I followed through from that 800++ numbers I was able to see here my Paper Pumpkin kit(s) were in the shipping process.

I created a PDF with screenshots to show how to get to the actual place that will show you the USPS tracking number and then you are able to track and know where your Paper Pumpkin™ is and delivery info.  I needed this information since I live in the north and didn't want my Ink Spot™ sitting in my mailbox for hours ☺

So, I am attaching a PDF to show how to get to the USPS tracking and number just in case you might be one of those wondering ...... "Where is my Paper Pumpkin?"

Also, I have redacted my personal information and tracking numbers since this Blog is public.

As always. please reach out to me if you have any questions.

Snowy Wonder Added To Christmas Album ...

I am enjoying adding to my special Christmas Album.  My 2001 pictures are also small on resolution so not the best but the memories brought back by making these 2 pages were like it was yesterday.  Again, the photos were taken with a very old iPhone back in 2001 so here they don't look great but on the layouts they are quite clear.

I use a Canon Selphy 1500 and these pics were printed at 3x4.  I did leave a small white border around that is actually part of the photo paper.  I then used Pool Party for the mats.

DSP (Snowy Scenes) for top and the bottom borders are accented with Garden Green CS.

Happy Christmas stamp is from an older stamp set, Snow Wonder.  I used a die from Stylish Shapes and Dimensionals.

I stamped White Willow 12" x 12" pages using Snowy Wonder with Garden Green ink pad 2nd generation.  The wreaths and other evergreen trees are die cut using Snowy Wonder dies and Stampin' Write Markers for coloring with Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green.  I used Nuvo Crystal Drops for the berries on the wreaths.

For my snowman snowglobe I used the die that fit the image on the DSP Snowy Scenes.  The "globe" piece is adhered with glue and Dimensionals used for the globe base.  I also used the globe die to cut a piece of Window Sheets (acetate) and then ran through embossing machine to create a snowy effect.  The embossing folder I used is an older Stampin' Up!™ folder named Softly Falling.I did use Mono Multi-Purpose glue just dabbing little dots on the edges of the window film.

Presents bottom right on 2nd page are stamped from Filled With Cheer and fussy cut.  Colored with Stampin' Write markers and the bow dots have an embellishment from Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Berries.   Again, I am far from a great fussy cutter but I give it a go and hope that practice makes close to perfect.  I mean - there is no such thing as "perfect" right?!!

Stampin' Write markers were used for the presents to color the stamped image.  I love using them and find them so easy with the brush nib.  For the tad darker "shadowed" areas I just go over those areas a 2nd or 3rd time with the same color and occasionally if there is a close match on the darker side I will use that for shadowing and shading.

The 2 stockings are Joyful Images Ephemera Pack (Last Chance-Not available).  I love this collection and wish I had bought a couple more packs as the designs are awesome.

I don't even think I need to say almost every stamped and/or die cut image has been kissed with Stella.  Yes, including the stockings!  Come on - you know me!!!

Are you working on any Christmas scrapbooking pages?  Would love to see them on my FB page, Stampin' & Scrappin' with Tina.  There is also a link on the right side of this post to follow.

Posting what I used with links but am not posting anything retired as I have mentioned those in the main post above.  I try to use current items but there are a few fav that are retired. I think I covered all I did 🤞

Happy crafting,

Tina

Christmas Tree 2000

While I haven't gone back super far, I thought the year 2000 was and OK place to start for my "Christmas Through The Years" album.

I started with a 12" x 12" piece of White Willow.  I did cut on the diagonal a Christmas print DSP.  The one I used (Traditions of St. Nick) has sold out and retired. However, any Christmas print will do.

I took another piece of the same DSP collection and cut on diagonal then tore the edge to add technique.  I used Tear & Tape to adhere to the White Willow.

Round We Go dies were used for the pinwheels/rosettes.  I ran those through my Mini Cut and Emboss machine adhering with Tombow Multi-Purpose Glue.

I used white 3D snowflakes and then (this is where hubby contributed) dabbed with Wink of Stella for a little sparkle.

The photo mats were cut with the Paper Trimmer using the same DSP collection.

Measurements (yours may be different depending on your photo):

Photo: 3.75" x 4.75"
Mat 1: 4" x 5"
Mat 2: 4.25" x 5.25"
Mat 3: 4.5" x 5.5"

Journaling measurements also depend on what you have to say.  I typically will use 2 mats for my journaling behind my text CS.

As always, if a product has retired, I will not post below in Products Used but do mention in the body of the post for reference.  You might have the same product and want to use it for this or something similar.

Happy crafting,

Tina

My Title Page For Our Christmas Through The Years Scrapbook Album ...

The album's main title page is finished.  I admit that I am probably slower at completion than most.  Maybe I overthink??   Maybe I struggle editing or selecting that perfect stamp set or color.  This is all OK as this is me - us - our pictures and memory albums.  These albums should show us with our creativity so I am A-OK with being slower than most :)

Here is the main title page to our year of Christmas memories.  I did have so much fun with this page as there are so many elements that I truly enjoy.  And, one element that isn't my fav thing to do - did I mention fussy cutting?

The fussy cutting came into play as I wanted to use several stamps from "Filled With Cheer" stamp set.  And, this is a stamp only set so no dies.  While I can do fussy cutting as can pretty much everyone I do not do it enough to be really good at it.  But, I had to have this stamp set included on my title page.  We haven't always lived where there is snow and snowmen.  So, opted for the wagon full of presents.

I used a 12x12 piece of DSP from "Sentimental Christmas #164209" which I see is also sold out but any Christmas DSP will be perfect.  Or, you could also make your own "specialty" page by stamping on a 12x12 sheet of White Willow CS.  I love creating my own pages with stamps and markers.  That truly makes them yours.

I used so many Stampin' Write markers for coloring the wagon, presents and lights.  As we know these markers come in groups of 5 or more so will list those below in "Products Used".

Also, Wink of Stella made a huge appearance on this page.  If you know me then you know Stella 🤣!  I used Stella on the bells beside Merry and most of the wagon element.  Here is a close up of the wagon and please remember - I am not an accomplished fussy cutter!!!!

The presents are all glued down and then I used Mini Dimensionals for the wagon.  Lights are glued down to the wagon and tires also glued to the page.  Since this stamp set does not include a wagon handle I improvised and used a small piece of Silver Threaded Twine which was on the Last Chance list when I used it here but I see it has sold out as of today.  Any twine will work or whatever you might come up with.  It was suggested to use the handle from "Filled With Fun #163561" but I haven't purchased that set yet.  The 2 presents falling off the back of the wagon are stamped using Snowy Wonder.

Here are some of the products I used and I will list them below as well.  Since there are a couple items that have sold out as mentioned above and will not be returning I will not list them below in Products Used.  I need to work faster I suppose 👍 !

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and wish you good health and much happiness in our New Year 2025!
