Embossed and debossed ...

I have seen this technique a few times and wanted to give it a go.  So, here we are embossing and debossing.  I was skeptical (just a tad) that both embossing folder designs would show but here is the proof!

Click on the attached PDF for the instructions/recipe and supply list.  Keep in mind the items listed are what I personally used.  Make it your own with what you have or purchase new likes and must haves!

If you have ANY questions please reach out to me.  Again, the "supply list" is included at the end of the PDF.  Yes, I also added QR scan codes to follow me on Facebook, IG and this Blog.  I appreciate everyone that reads these posts and if you make this card please post it to my FB page - the QR scan code once again is included in this PDF.  Oh yeah, you can also select to follow using the links on this Blog located that way →→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→

Below is the PDF which you can view here on the Blog or click to open.

As always, please reach out with any questions.  I would love to see what you do!

Latte Love ...

So, many know I love my coffee.  And, this bundle is perfect.  I love everything about this bundle including the little coffee beans!
Latte Love Bundle: https://bit.ly/3ViW3bu

Some of the products I used are shown in the above photo but I also used a few others.

  • The card is a standard A2 4.25" x 5.5" cut 4.25"x11" and scored at 5.5" using Basic White cardstock.
  • Main panel is 4"x5.25" and the thin Lost Lagoon piece is 4"x1.75" both from "A Little Latte 12"x12" DSP.
  • StaZon Jet Black was used for all stamped images that markers were used on.
  • The front sentiment and the little message inside the card were stamped with VersaMark and then heat embossed with WOW Copper.
  • Stampin' Write markers are fun to use as you have 1 end with a brush tip and the other of course is a bullet tip for writing.  Or, you can use Stampin' Blends.  Colors are Lost Lagoon and Crumb Cake.
  • I did add Wink of Stella (it is an addiction I have) to the coffee pot top, handle and beans as well as the 3 adhesive dot embellishments.
  • The coffee pot was cut with the bundle die using Vellum (from my stash).
  • Several adhesives, Stampin' Seal, Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue and Mini Dimensionals.
  • The Early Espresso ribbon is from a previous catalog and I snipped a bit for the front and also inside.
  • The insert for the inside of the card with the "coffee splatter" photographed darker than it really is.  I did a triple generation with Early Espresso for a light touch.

It's a long post ~ July Paper Pumpkin + Alternatives ...

I really love the July Paper Pumpkin™kit, Painted Petals.  I went a bit out of my comfort zone with this one.  I also included a couple of extra alternative "designs" so in reality, you can get more than 9 cards out of a kit.

Cut them up!  Not only the cards but the envelopes when they have the beautiful designs on them too.

I stuck to the colors used for this kits and they are Calypso Coral, Early Espresso, Melon Mambo and Mossy Meadow.  I also used some ribbons, added various embellishments and even transformed a couple into shaker cards.

I will list the individual products below the images.  If you haven't subscribed to Paper Pumpkin™, maybe give it a try.  You can purchase by the month or a pre-paid subscription.  Get with me for more information or click this link ... https://bit.ly/3QLBd34.

And, don't forget the add-on dies that are good for all 3 Paper Pumpkin kits in that quarter.  You will be able to find those in the Online Exclusives.

On to the cards and briefly from L to R ...

Left card: I made a shaker card adding Foam Adhesive strips and trimmed the acetate to fit the floral piece.  Although hard to see in the photo, I also added Wink of Stella to the blooms.  Added a bit of twine by sentiment and used Mini Dimensionals. Shaker pieces are from my stash.  Sentiment stamped with Mossy Meadow.

Middle card: I trimmed the back piece of the enclosed card and trimmed to 4" x 5.25".  I did used Dimensionals to lift.  On the enclosed card front I used Spotlight on Nature dies and Dimensionals.  Next, trimmed the enclosed piece to remove the white "frame and used Tear & Tape to adhere to the die cut circle adding a couple of Mini Dimensionals to the stems.  For the sentiment I wanted something very simple so Hello it was from the stamp set included with this Paper Pumpkin™ kit.  I also used the small die from Spotlight on Nature.  I stamped it with Melon Mambo.

Right card: This was made according to the enclosed step by step instructions.  Embellishments were also included in the kit.  Sentiment stamped with Gray Granite Stampin' Spot also included.

Moving on below to the next group.

Left card: This was made into a shaker card using pieces from my shash for the "shaker" element. Foam Adhesive Strips and acetate (Window Sheets) to make it a shaker.  Sentiment stamped with Mossy Meadow using one of the included stamps.  Added a bit of platinum thread from stash to the back of sentiment.  Yes, Wink of Stella on the leaves.  I mean - I love Wink of Stella!!!

Middle card: Made according to the enclosed Paper Pumpkin™ instructions.  I did add Rhinestone Basic Jewels as the embellishment and the sentiment is stamped with Mossy Meadow.  Ribbon from my Stampin' Up! ribbon stash.

Right card: Made according to enclosed instructions but I used the Mini Dimensionals on this one.  Sentiment stamped with Mossy Meadow.

So much fun with this group.  I have some left over pieces to do a couple more after completing the above and 4 cards below.  Don't be afraid to cut the enclosed cards & envelopes to make several more cards than the enclosed 9!  Be adventurous and let your creative side come through.

And, moving on below to the final group.

Left card: I used Deckled Rectangles dies on the included back of the card.  Then again on the enclosed card front.  Dimensionals behind the card front and stamped on Basic White (I used Thick) the flower from the included stamp set.  I placed the stamp on my Misti and used Stampin' Write markers.  Using the Add-On dies I was able to die cut that floral image.  Then, Blender Pens to ever so slightly "blend" the Calypso Coral and Mossy Meadow from the edges to make it look a bit like watercolor.  Remember, Stampin' Write markers are filled with the same ink as the Classic Stampin' Pads and have brush end and fine tip end. Ribbon is Basic Beige.

Card #2: Mossy Meadow cardstock layer and then card front having been cut from the card back.  Only other change from the original instructions is my adding platinum thread from stash.

Card#3: Again cut apart the enclosed card using the back trimmed to 4"x5.25" and then the card front trimmed to 3.75"x5".  Mini Dimensionals to lift the top floral piece and Calypso Coral ribbon from my stash.  The embellishments are Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls.  I so love these.

Right card: I will 1st say the I had placed a dab of Liquid Adhesive Glue on the back of 1 of the embellishments and I bumped something on my desk, hand sent down and the embellishment was on the card.  I would normally not space this far apart LOL!  Again cut up a card from the kit and used the back for the main mat 4"x5.25".  Made this one into a shaker and used one of my very favorite ribbons, Iridescent ½" Trim.  If you don't have this - please consider it.  This ribbon is stunning.

Apologies - I did remove yesterday's post ...

I removed my post yesterday about not getting notifications of comments using Facebook involving my personal and business (Stampin' Up!) pages as the "mystery" was solved.

I apologize for any confusion your receiving a new post notification might have caused as, if you clicked on my post link in that email notification, you would have gotten error type messages.

Now, to address commenting here on my blog - I have the settings currently for anyone to be able to comment, therefore the setting will automatically show as Anonymous unless you click on the dropdown to give you other options.  If you choose to not bother with selecting one of the other 2 options, please feel free to just add your name (if you like) to your Anonymous comment.  LOL ~ hope that makes sense.  So, you are Anonymous but wait ~ no you're not 🤣

I appreciate the understanding and again apologies if the deleted post caused any confusion.

Now, on to crafting ...

New month, new layout and more ...

Happy August!  Yes, can you believe ... AUGUST!!  We are zipping through 2024.  This is a long blog post as didn't want to overload your inbox if you have elected to get email notifications of my new posts.  So, covering a couple of things in this one post.

With a new month comes a new Host Code: QNKFEG7E

Today I want to share information and a fun scrapbook layout I just completed.

Many have earned $5 coupons in July.  Today begins the 1st day to redeem those codes.  You may use as many as you have or want to use on an order.  There is not a set limit on how many coupons you may use.  How awesome is that!

Have you had your eye on a big ticket item?  Maybe looking at the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine?  Now is the time to apply your coupon codes for that big ticket item OR shop Online Exclusives, Kits, month to month or prepaid Paper Pumpkin subscriptions and so much more!

And, as a reminder if you are using multiple codes on an order to separate them with a space.  And, you are able to use those codes with whichever Demonstrator you choose.  With this special event you do not have to use your earned coupons with the person you earned them with.  I mention this as with so many "earned" things in life - the "earned" item(s) are usually required to be redeemed with the original person etc.  No so with this special Stampin' Up! offered.  How awesome is this?  Again, you are in control!

Now the new layout.  I have been looking at the card designs shown in the new Annual Catalog.  I have converted a couple of them for scrapbook pages.  I thought this would be a fun thing to do and to show that Stampin' Up!™ is NOT just for cardmaking.  Of course you also know that we are ramping up for a September release of new scrapbooking items.  So excited Stampin' Up!™ is doing this!!

So, one of the layouts I have converted to scrapbook page is card layout #11.  The measurements are noted on the image.  Here is the converted scrapbook page "recipe".

And, here is my completed scrapbook page. I splattered Petunia Pop and Summer Splash on Basic White 12x12 cardstock.  The photo "mats" were cut per the above measurements using Unbounded Beauty 12x12 DSP.  I wanted to somewhat "play" on the name of the area we were in ... Conch so I decided to use Seaside Wishes stamps and dies. I then added Dimensionals and Wink of Stella to the shells and Starfish.    They are stamped with Crumb Cake on Basic White thick cardstock.  Image #1 journaling is a triple mat using Petunia Pop and Summer Splash, then I added Dimensionals.  All of the photo "mats" are placed with Stampin' Seal+.

I am working on another conversion from one of the card designs showcased in the Annual Catalog and will post that soon.

I would love to see what you do with the above converted card to scrapbook page layouts.  If you do it please post it to my Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61561170500499 (Stampin' & Scrappin' with Tina or click on the Follow Me on Facebook button on the right of this post.  Until then ...
